A large non-profit Health System is currently seeking an experienced Vascular Surgeon for an excellent opportunity located in downtown metro Milwaukee. This opportunity takes place in a thriving metro area medical center and is ideal for those interested in program development and expansion.  

Clinical Details: Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiac Catheterization, EKG, Nuclear Stress Testing, Pacemaker Clinic, Peripheral Vascular Lab, Surgical Services, Vascular Institute.   

The Greater Milwaukee Area boasts a metro population of more than 1.5 million and offers a variety of beautiful real estate ranging from a metropolitan vibe to scenic waterfront views. Fun family-friendly places include The Brewer’s Miller Park and the Bradley Center, home of the Milwaukee Bucks and the Marquette Golden Eagles.  For fine arts enthusiasts, The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts is home to Milwaukee’s own opera, ballet and symphony. Check out the Milwaukee County Zoo, Milwaukee County Museum or one of the many cultural festivals happening throughout the summer months. 

  • The ideal candidate is a physician who is willing to be a program developer - potential recruitment involvement, high probability to develop statewide program for tertiary site.  
  • Option to work with General Surgery and Podiatry residents.  
  • Full-time schedule includes 2 clinic days and 2 days in surgery, with 5-10 consults a week.  
  • Nine (9) General Surgeons and 2 APC’s to assist with coverage and support.  
  • Candidate Criteria: BC/BE – Vascular Surgery. AHA preferred. Candidates must be experienced! H1-B visa support.  
  • Compensation and Benefits: Highly competitive compensation package with above median compensation and RVU’s, plus additional incentives, relocation, and excellent benefits with a retirement plan. During the pandemic, no physicians were furloughed, and reported no compensation loss.
