Part-time Psychiatry - North Carolina - Variety of Shift Times/Days Available

Are you a psychiatrist licensed in North Carolina seeking part-time work or who is interested in earning some additional income?

Choose from a variety of days, hours, and locations, including the Research Triangle area of NC, or other locations throughout the state.

Psychiatry Moonlighting - RTP area - Weekdays:

  • BC or BE in Psychiatry
  • Must have active NC license and DEA
  • Hours are full-time, M-F 8a- 5p with some flexibility including one week and weekend of on-call per month
  • EMR: Epic
  • The average number of consults during a shift is 2 on the floor and 15 in the ER – (all peds are transferred out)
  • Consult Liaison and Team approach modelStrong camaraderie team supported by experienced APPs and; psychiatric social workers

Psychiatry Moonlighting Opportunity - Weekends in NC

  • Shift times: Friday, 5pm – Monday, 8am (end time can be flexible)
  • BC and BE in Psychiatry accepted
  • Must have active NC license and DEA
  • Number of beds: 20
  • Average Census: 9
  • Number of Admits: 2
  • Number of Consults: 2 during floor shift/16 during ER shift
  • EMR: Epic
  • Cover inpatient unit & medical floor consults. (Would be in-house up to 12 hours.)
  • ER & Floor consults - inhouse times vary - average in-house time of 6+ hours, depending on the day & patient volume.
