What is the physician's role in the process?
Expect to be treated like a consultant during your licensing application. While there will be required information to submit, our team will pre-fill all forms, allowing you to focus on your clinical and family responsibilities.
We will use your:
CV, AMA Profile, FSMB Profile, and various databases to prefill your applications.
Most applications are now online, you will get a change to confirm all of your data prior to submission.
What documents do I have to provide?
This is a list of MLS licensing service fees. This does not include all of the costs of licensing.
Common examples of necessary documentation include:
- Birth certificate
- Identification
- Citizenship
- Name change
- Court case
- Military enlistment and/or discharge
Expect to get an envelope in the mail from us. Despite most applications being online, there are usually forms that require a wet signature.
A prepaid return mailing envelope will also be included in your package. We use USPS 2-day Priority Mail whenever possible to keep your costs down.
Will I have to get fingerprinted?
Fingerprints might also be required if the state requires an FBI background check.
We will help arrange the fingerprinting session and include all the cards the state will require in the mailing.
Is there anything I can do to get my license faster?
Once everything is complete and submitted, our team will work with our contacts at the medical boards to expedite the processing of your application and the supporting materials.
Moonlighting Solutions looks forward to partnering with you on your licensing journey.
What if I still have questions?
We would love to discuss things further. Grab a spot on our licensing expert’s calendar to meet virtually.
