Join the roster for weekend shifts! Have you considered per diem moonlighting shifts? I am seeking an advanced heart failure cardiologist for moonlighting coverage in Delaware. This hospital is a one-stop shop for cardiology, cardiac and vascular surgery, vascular interventional radiology, and interventional nephrology. They have recently been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as the best hospital in the state, and HealthGrades presented the hospital with the Cardiac Care Excellence Award and ranked them as one of America’s 100 Best for Cardiac Care. Details • Weekend needs currently • Onsite loosely from 8:00a-5:00p – leave after rounds, then phone call coverage in the evening • Onsite Responsibilities: Rounding on 12-17 patients, plus consults. No procedures. • Nightly calls: 0-2 outpatient calls, 8 inpatient calls/texts typically from CCU on hemodynamic related management decisions, fellows regarding floor patients, incoming transfers, and HF service admissions as needed, and sometimes the VAD NP will call if urgent Requirements • Certifications: BC/BE – Cardiology, and preferably fellowship trained in Advanced Heart Failure • Licenses: Active DE license and DEA are ideal • We can assist with obtaining licenses and costs! Compact state is a plus!
